ACTIVITIES

The club plans future activities at a dinner/planning meeting held three times a year. The resulting activity schedule is published in our monthly bulletin Outset.

TRIPS
Weekend activities take us either to local areas or a short drive out of the city. Day trips leave from various meeting points depending on direction, where we arrange carpooling. Trips further afield can be arranged for long weekends.

SOCIALS
Social events are planned several times a month. Typical activities are a dinner/theatre evening, a movie, contra dancing, bowling, and in summer Pitch 'N Putt and BBQ. A Summer BBQ and Christmas event are annual highlights.

A brunch/lunch and 5-10 km walk sometimes serves to combine a trip with a social over the 'shoulder' seasons (spring and fall).

BOOK CLUB
The Outsetters Book Club meets periodically in members' homes.

MID-WEEK ACTIVITIES
Ongoing activities as arranged between members who are free weekdays.
